Mage Productions started out as an independent computer graphics company founded in 1995 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The word mage (which is the singular of magi and rhymes with sage) comes from the Persian magha, which means bounty and giving. The magi were ancient Persian priests.

Mage Productions, Inc. has been incorporated for over three years, providing technology services, software development, e-commerce and Internet consulting. Doing business as MagePro, Mage Productions has established itself as a Core Technology Partner in the design phase of a state-of-the-art data center. Mage Productions has also contracted with other core technology partners to automate and streamline their systems management and other processes. MagePro has been profitable since its second year.
